Returns and Cancellations Policy

We kindly request you to go through the returns and cancellations policy document before placing your order.

Important request to all customers.
First and foremost we request all the customers to record a product package unboxing video while opening the package delivered to you.

What is product package unboxing video?
To explain in detail, PLEASE don’t open the package just like that. Either with your mobile or any other recording device record the opening of the product package continuously till all the products are opened and shoot close shoots of all the products and check for any damages at the same time. In case of any damages, zoom in and shoot it clearly. Please make sure you make a single video and not multiple videos. You will need this video as a proof for approval of your return requests.

Customers can return the products under various circumstances mentioned below.

1) Returns arising due to damaged/ defective / different product received.

 Each and every product of efancy is exclusive and handpicked and hence the chances of a bad quality/defectiveness is almost nil.

Also we take almost care in packing the product and are 99% damage free in transit.

But, in case if u receive a product in damaged/defective/or in different condition it should be informed within 24 hrs you receive the product. This is done by raising a return request in the ” returns page ” section in ” My Accounts ” page. A return ID number will be generated once you submit this form. Then you need to send us an email to returns@efancy.in attaching the product unboxing video ( attach the image of the product in case you received a different product instead of the one you ordered ) and mentioning the return ID number in the subject.  All return requests are carefully monitored by our team for approval. 

Once your return request is accepted,

  1. a) In case of ” different item received “, you will be instructed to self ship the product in the original condition back to our warehouse address given in the approval mail. 
  2. b) In case of  ” damaged/defective item “, depending on the condition of the product, you will be instructed whether to return ship the product or not back to us. The details regarding this will be conveyed to the customer in the approval mail. The customer will be responsible for the returned item until it reaches us.

Once your return request is accepted,

  1. a) In case of ” different item received “, you will be instructed to self ship the product in the original condition back to our warehouse address given in the approval mail. 
  2. b) In case of  ” damaged/defective item “, depending on the condition of the product, you will be instructed whether to return ship the product or not back to us. The details regarding this will be conveyed to the customer in the approval mail. The customer will be responsible for the returned item until it reaches us.

2) Returns arising due to unsatisfactory product quality.

As mentioned earlier each and every product of efancy is handpicked and hence the chances of a bad quality is almost nil.

But in some rare cases if the customer faces such an issue, the customer can have the product returned.

However, the customer will have to self-ship the product back to us. The returned product is subject to verification by our team and if the mistake is on our side, the customer will be refunded along with the shipping return charges whatever applicable, on the other hand if the mistake is found to be on the customer side, here too the customer will be refunded but excluding all the shipping charges ( both to and fro ) whatever applicable. 

Therefore we suggest that the customer who cares for the best quality to avoid low priced products, where in some cases the product might lack the customer expected quality.

3) Returns arising due any other reason

In some rare cases for some reason or other if the customer wants to return their order, we allow for complete order returns or partial returns until none of the items in your order have been shipped from our warehouse(s).

You can get in touch with Customer Care as soon as possible at returns@efancy.in with your order number and request for return. 

But if your product has been already shipped and is yet to be delivered, please do not accept delivery and contact Customer Care at returns@efancy.in to inform us the same as early as possible. 

Return of products will be approved and accepted only if the products meets the following requirements

3) Returns arising due any other reason

In some rare cases for some reason or other if the customer wants to return their order, we allow for complete order returns or partial returns until none of the items in your order have been shipped from our warehouse(s).

You can get in touch with Customer Care as soon as possible at returns@efancy.in with your order number and request for return. 

But if your product has been already shipped and is yet to be delivered, please do not accept delivery and contact Customer Care at returns@efancy.in to inform us the same as early as possible. 

Return of products will be approved and accepted only if the products meets the following requirements

  • All the returned items, single or multiples should be in a seal-able condition with the tags intact and in their original packaging.
  • The returned product should be in new condition, unworn, unaltered, and free of damages by the customer.
  • Kindly pack the items securely along with the stuffing material if provided with the packing to prevent any loss or damage during transit.
  • We recommend you use a reliable courier service.

 Return of products will not be approved under the following conditions

  • Damages arsing due to misuse of product, neglect, improper usage.
  • Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of product;
  • Any minor color variations in the products from the photographs shared on the website would not be eligible for a refund or returns;
  • For minor issues like twisted chain, small bent in the earring stem etc in case of fancy jewelery.
  • Any consumable item which has been used or installed;
  • Any damage / defect which are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty;
  • Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the box, manufacturer’s packaging if any, and all other items originally included with the product(s) delivered;
  • For some products sold in efancy, there might be a minor variations in terms of finishing, colour, looks etc. due to various reasons such as production batch differences, variations in workmanship In such cases the return request will not be approved.

 

But in some rare cases if you still feel unsatisfied with the product finishing, you can mail a special return request attaching the photo of the product in close up to returns@efancy.in. Here again the returns team will look into the request and in some cases might approve your request but, only the product value will be refunded excluding the shipping charges whatever applied.

The returned goods are subject to inspection and checking by Efancy team.  If your product is approved by our team, then the necessary replacement/refund will be initiated immediately. If in case we do not have an alternate replacement, you will be informed regarding the time and other details regarding your product. Then you can either decide to hold your order or to cancel it. On cancellation you will be refunded in full for the returned product. Depending on the nature of the return request the shipping charges in some cases will deducted from the return value and refunded to the customer. In such cases efancy management will have the final say on decision of returns and replacement.

 

Refunds for all orders  will be processed once the shipment returns to our Warehouse and the amount will refunded within 10 working days, by the same mode in which the payment has been made.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

If the packaging is tampered with or damaged while deliver, please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person.

WHY MIGHT MY RETURN PACKAGE BE REFUSED?

Efancy reserves the right to refuse a return package if the return instructions are not met and followed. As per company’s return policy, efancy will not be responsible for items damaged or lost in transit while return.

Efancy Management will have the final say on decision of returns and replacement.

Do you allow exchanges?

No, we do not allow exchanges. 

In case if you want to exchange, you have to cancel your existing order fully or partially and place a new order.

Why was my order canceled?  Why didn’t you send me any intimation?

This could be because either the product is out of stock or it has been rejected for quality reasons. An email is always sent when an order is cancelled, but it is possible that it might sometimes directed to your spam folder.

What is efancy’s Fair Usage Policy?

We always strive hard to provide the best online experience to our customers. However, we have noticed that few accounts abuse our liberal returns policy. These accounts typically return most of the items bought or choose to not accept our shipments. Hence, our regular customers are deprived of the opportunity to buy these items. To protect the rights of our customers, we reserve the right to disable/delete such accounts which have high percentage of returns.

Cancellation and Modifications

What is efancy’s Cancellation Policy?

We make every effort to fulfill all the orders placed. However, please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to process and must cancel. The reasons include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product, pricing and stock information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department.


If your order is cancelled after your credit/debit card has been charged, the refund amount will be transferred to your account and may be reversed back in your Card Account.

How do I cancel my Order?

You can cancel an order until it has not been packed in our Warehouse.

You can get in touch with Customer Care as soon as possible at returns@efancy.in with your order number and request for return. 

But if your product has been already shipped and is yet to be delivered, please do not accept delivery and contact Customer Care at returns@efancy.in to inform us the same as early as possible. 

The amount paid will be credited into the same payment mode using which the payment was made in the given time for each mode. 

Can I modify the shipping address of my order after it has been placed?

Yes, you can modify the shipping address of your order before we have processed (packed) it, by mailing us to care@efancy.in

When will I receive my refund for the returned/cancelled order ? 

For all cancelled orders you will receive refund into the source account within 7-14 days from the time of order cancellation.

Refunds for all other orders  will be processed once the shipment returns to our Warehouse and the amount will refunded within 7 -14 working days, by the same mode in which the payment has been made.
